Ever wonder how a movie gets made? In this 4-week workshop, we will work together to make an original short film. Each session will focus on another aspect of production, from screenwriting to editing, and the skills learned here will travel to wherever you want them to go. No prior skill required, and it’s okay if you can’t make it every week. Lisa Bastoni (Northampton, MA) is a 2022 & 2023 New England Music Award Nominee (Roots), 2020 & 2019 Boston Music Award (Folk) and winner of 2019 New Folk at the esteemed Kerrville Folk Festival. In addition to her work in music, Lisa Bastoni is a visual artist and teacher. Lisa has opened for/performed with Lori McKenna, Dar Williams, Regina Spektor, The Secret Sisters, Teddy Thompson, Rose Cousins, Mark Erelli, Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams, and many more. Her latest album, On The Water, was released in March 2024. She performs regularly around New England, and occasionally beyond.
