Join the Easthampton Public Library Chess Club! The club will start from square one and everyone is welcome–beginner or expert! Learn the real rules and how to use all of your pieces. Study famous games and learn winning strategies to improve your play. Ages 9+ (Children below 9 need to be accompanied by an adult). Space is limited. Have you fallen in love with Alice Oseman’s Heartstopper??  Come celebrate the release of the fifth graphic novel with us! Hang out with other fans, have snacks, make friendship bracelets and pronoun/pride pins, try your hand at fan fiction, and listen to music from the Netflix series.

Calling all builders! Bring your friends and let your imagination run wild. Creations will remain on display at the Library until the Club’s next meeting.

Our Monday Night Book Club meets monthly (except twice in January and not in December), on the fourth Monday, from 6:30 – 8 PM. Drop-in. We provide copies of each title for participants to check out. Come join Easthampton Public Health Nurse, Chris Southworth, and quiet your mind with line design by making gel pen snowflakes! Drop in or stay the whole hour, we will have materials to make beautiful, geometric snowflake line drawings. Program is designed for school aged children and teens.
