Renew your love of adventure at the Library! Join us on Mondays this summer for a 5-session D&D series running from July 1 through August 5 (no game 7/8). Can you help refresh a fledgling frontier-town by uncovering a much needed resource? Tread carefully — the vast sands of the Badlands might not be as barren as they seem! Recommended for ages 13-16. Come enjoy award-winning folk duo Lisa Bastoni with Sean Staples for an acoustic evening. Lisa’s songs have been described as delicate, thoughtful and soul-stirring! We hope to see you there.

Lisa Bastoni (Northampton, MA) is a 2022 & 2023 New England Music Award Nominee (Roots), 2020 & 2019 Boston Music Award (Folk) and winner of 2019 New Folk at the esteemed Kerrville Folk Festival. In addition to her work in music, Lisa Bastoni is a visual artist and teacher. Lisa has opened for/performed with Lori McKenna, Dar Williams, Regina Spektor, The Secret Sisters, Teddy Thompson, Rose Cousins, Mark Erelli, Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams, and many more. Her latest album, On The Water, was released in March 2024. She performs regularly around New England, and occasionally beyond.

The evening will include crafts, cake, and time to chat with the authors. High Five Books will be there selling books from both authors! Recommended for youth and adults ages 12 and up. The youth department is in it’s Snail Mail Era! Come join us for a mail art afternoon making and decorating envelopes and letters. All supplies and a limited amount of postage will be provided to mail the art you create!
