We are delighted to have theater teacher, Heidi Haas, join us for this series! Every workshop includes warm-up exercises, scene work, and theater games. The workshop introduces the value of using drama to express feelings, playfully solve problems, and encourages children to challenge themselves and participate as fully as they feel comfortable. Team building and creating a sense of safety are integral parts of the process and draw on the strengths of the students to foster a sense of pride in what they can accomplish as a group. During this special four week workshop designed for youth ages 9 and up, participants will join Lisa Bastoni, award-winning folk singer and songwriter, to learn about a variety of song forms and elements, and work collaboratively and individually to turn their own experiences into songs! Come ready to hang out and make stuff! We’ll have the button maker out as well as journals, washi tape, and other fun supplies. Snacks, too! Ages 12+

Lois returns for another artful summer workshop series! Each of these Tuesdays will feature an open-ended art project; come to one or come to all of these fun programs. Registration is required.
