The Easthampton Council on Aging Book Club meets at the Council on Aging every other month on the third Thursday, from 2 – 3:30pm. We provide copies of each title for participants to check out. Join us for a special meeting of the Intersectional Speculative Fiction Book Club. Instead of selecting a group read for this date, we will be hosting an informal book chat about the best things you’ve been reading, trends in the genre, and anything else your heart desires. Our Monday Night Book Club meets monthly (except twice in January and not in December), on the fourth Monday, from 6:30 – 8 PM. Drop-in. We provide copies of each title for participants to check out. Join local artist Dave Wallace (incendavery.com) to learn about his process for creating diary comics, and turn your own life into a work of art! Dave will lead participants through exercises that incorporate free writing, character creation, and scripting, before helping us put it all together into a finished comic. Renew your love of adventure at the Library! Join us on Mondays this summer for a 5-session D&D series running from July 1 through August 5 (no game 7/8). Can you help refresh a fledgling frontier-town by uncovering a much needed resource? Tread carefully — the vast sands of the Badlands might not be as barren as they seem! Recommended for ages 13-16.
