Join local artist Dave Wallace (incendavery.com) to learn about his process for creating diary comics, and turn your own life into a work of art! Dave will lead participants through exercises that incorporate free writing, character creation, and scripting, before helping us put it all together into a finished comic. Led by award-winning teen writer, Aliya Axelrad, this workshop is designed to allow students age 12 and up a place to explore their own passion and love for creative writing. Suggested prompts and topics will be provided, and we all have a chance to share and celebrate each other’s work.
