Yoga with Brian Mulligan

Free adult yoga class, weekly on Mondays (except the 4th Monday) from 6-7pm with Brian Mulligan. Brian stresses a gentle approach to yoga with emphasis on proper alignment, safety and well-balanced classes.

Drop-in and bring your own yoga mat.

Brian is a certified 200 hour yoga instructor who studied under Kim Valerie’s Iyengar based Yoga Spirits out of Beverly, MA. He’s also certified to teach chair yoga, having studied under Lakshmi Voelker’s Get Fit Where You Sit program. Lakshmi has trained over 1600 Chair yoga instructors and trains out of Kripalu.

Pokemon Club

Come share your love of all things Pokemon with other enthusiasts! Feel free to bring your device to play Pokemon GO, your trading cards to battle and trade, or any of the many handheld video games to play and share with each other. Each meeting of the Club will feature a game to play together on the Library’s Nintendo Switch.

Chess Club

Join the Easthampton Public Library Chess Club! The club will start from square one and everyone is welcome–beginner or expert! Learn the real rules and how to use all of your pieces. Study famous games and learn winning strategies to improve your play. Ages 9+ (Children below 9 need to be accompanied by an adult). Space is limited. Build Repair Grow Visioning Meeting

Build Repair Grow (BRG) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Western Massachusetts that began in February 2020. Build Repair Grow provides young people with training in practical skills critical for developing individual resiliency, problem-solving, and self-sufficiency. They do this through teaching workshops in growing and cooking food, sewing, basic carpentry, and bike repair. Build Repair Grow currently leads programming at Mountain View School through other area partnerships with schools and organizations serving youth.
BRG’s Director, Logan McFadden, will host a visioning meeting for local parents and youth (ages 4th grade and up) to discuss the potential creation of a Tween/Teen Drop In Center in Easthampton. All are invited to share ideas (and snacks!).
