Our Graphic Novel Book Club meets monthly, on the second Tuesday, from 6:30 – 8 PM. All are welcome to join! Email Anastasia at bookclubs@ewmlibrary.org if you are interested in joining and to request the next book title.

Join the Easthampton Public Library Chess Club! The club will start from square one and everyone is welcome–beginner or expert! Learn the real rules and how to use all of your pieces. Study famous games and learn winning strategies to improve your play. Ages 9+ (Children below 9 need to be accompanied by an adult). Space is limited. Kat Now (she/her) is an educator, creator, and lifelong singer. Kat has dedicated her life’s work to advancing access and inclusion in education and the arts. Kat is a teacher of the Embodied Mindfulness practices of Kripalu yoga, JourneyDance, and mindful singing. She is also ridiculously proud to be Polish & spends as much time in nature as she can.

The Easthampton Council on Aging Book Club meets at the Council on Aging every other month on the third Thursday, from 2 – 3:30pm. We provide copies of each title for participants to check out. Read the book and drop-in at the ECOA for the discussion. Visit the ECOA Book Club page for a list of dates and titles, with links to each in the catalog.

Molly is a Bright Spot Therapy Dog who likes to hear stories and look at the pictures. We will have sign ups for 10 minute slots with her as a reading buddy. Sign up for a timeslot here in person or by calling us at 413-527-1031 or emailing us at youthdept@ewmlibrary.org.
