Chalk Art Festival!

Why should Northampton have all the fun? On the same day artists will be marking their sidewalks with chalk, visit our library to add
some art of your own to our outdoor areas. Chalk will be provided, or feel free to bring your own. All ages welcome.

Chemistry Adventure Day with Mount Holyoke College!
Oct 1 @ 10:30 am – 11:30 am

This workshop leads children through the counter intuitive idea of shrinking art with heat. Participants will get to create their own plastic art designs, put them in toaster ovens, and see them shrink! Engage with scientific models and fellow science enthusiasts, and leave the library with a new understanding of the chemistry behind shrinking art!

Introducing… Brick Builders Club

Join us for our first ever Brick Builders Club to build and play with our new Library LEGOs! We will present a different challenge to build from each week, or you can choose a creation of your own. Projects will be displayed in the Library for all to enjoy. Donations of new or gently used LEGOs are welcome. Future meetings will be held weekly on Mondays from 3:30-4:30pm, starting 3/6. Recommended for ages 4 & up.
