Sheryl White of Baby Kneads visits again, this time to lead you through the process of providing nurturing and bonding contact for your baby. What she teaches draws upon both modern research and historical practices. Recommended for ages 0 through precrawling.

Dr. Gail N. Herman returns to share interactive stories and mime — learn the parts of famous buildings (from Egypt, Greece, Rome, and more) by shaping them with your own body! Afterward we’ll draw building of our own design using what we learned. Recommended for ages 6-12.

Pokemon trainers unite! Bring your Pokemon cards to the Library and show off your collection. Assemble a deck to test out against other trainers. Check out Jonathan’s vast collection of cards that began almost 20 years ago! Recommended for ages 8-12.

We know you love Minecraft — we can’t keep our books about it on the shelf — so come play with us! Meet other Minecraft enthusiasts and work together in a shared world to build fantastic creations! Some accounts will be available for new players, but you’re encouraged to use your own if you have one. Recommended for ages 6-12.

The Boston Science Museum visits the Library for the first of TWO SESSIONS of this out-of-this-world workshop. Participants will create an air rocket that launches across the room, and engineer a way for a payload to return safely to Earth. This hands-on workshop explores the science behind rockets and space exploration. Use your imagination to plan, build, and test your own design. Recommended for ages 5-12.

Join Pascommuck Conservation Trust board member Marty Klein on a tour of their award winning Mutter’s Field Accessible Trail, “A Place in Nature for Everyone.” Completed in 2016, the trail has been embraced by the community as a tranquil place to enjoy nature’s beauty and has become one of Easthampton’s “special places.” Participants should meet at the East St. entrance. In the event that lot is full, parking is available along East Green Street. Enter the trail at the end of the street and proceed to the East St. trail head to meet the group.
