Rockets: There and Back! Session 1

The Boston Science Museum visits the Library for the first of TWO SESSIONS of this out-of-this-world workshop. Participants will create an air rocket that launches across the room, and engineer a way for a payload to return safely to Earth. This hands-on workshop explores the science behind rockets and space exploration. Use your imagination to plan, build, and test your own design. Recommended for ages 5-12.

RESCHEDULED! — Walking Tour of Mutter’s Field Accessible Trail

Join Pascommuck Conservation Trust board member Marty Klein on a tour of their award winning Mutter’s Field Accessible Trail, “A Place in Nature for Everyone.” Completed in 2016, the trail has been embraced by the community as a tranquil place to enjoy nature’s beauty and has become one of Easthampton’s “special places.” Participants should meet at the East St. entrance. In the event that lot is full, parking is available along East Green Street. Enter the trail at the end of the street and proceed to the East St. trail head to meet the group.
