Adulting 101: Career Readiness
May 15 @ 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Future feeling a little unclear? Let the Library help!

“Adulting 101” is a series of teen-centered programs organized by the Library, meant to delve into important life-skills that students may not be learning in school.

On May 15th the Library will host educators from Junior Achievement of Western Mass, who will lead activities and share tips to help prepare those of us looking to enter into the job market.

Topics will include crucial skills for entering the workforce, reflecting on our skills and work priorities, and building a personal brand through the creation of various job-hunting tools.

So what about once you get the job? JA will return in June to follow up with a workshop on financial literacy, to make the most out of all that money you’re going to start earning. Stay tuned for more details!

“Adulting 101” is brought to you with federal funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.
