Intro to Harm Reduction Workshop
Sep 16 @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

Facilitators Jess and Albie will present on addressing the Overdose Crisis with Harm Reduction, and lead a conversation/Q&A.

  • What is harm reduction?

  • Does harm reduction include abstinence and 12 step? (It does, but most media mistakenly have portrayed abstinence and harm reduction as opposites).

  • How can harm reduction help people who don’t want or have not been able to achieve abstinence?

  • How does harm reduction offer families an alternative to tough love?

  • How does harm reduction save lives of people who use drugs?

Jess Tilley and Albie Park are best practice harm reduction trainers and consultants and co-founders of HRH413, located in Western MA. Together they have well over 40 years in harm reduction as activists and treatment providers. HRH413 is dedicated to elevating the quality of harm reduction services in Western MA in particular and their knowledge and skill are recognized nationally.
