Join Nancy for a presentation and showing of birdwatching materials (binoculars, bird guides, etc.), then go outside together to listen and see what birds you can find. This program is happening rain or shine. In the event of bad weather, Nancy will lead a bird-friendly/birdwatching craft.

Nancy Stenberg has been an avid birdwatcher since she was 10 years old. She was inspired by the novel Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach. She enjoys her work as an elementary school librarian, and is a proud mother and grandmother.

Learn about amazing creatures! Experts in reptile care will teach us about their habits and habitats, as well as what makes them different from each other. Meet live animals from the Nook–they might even let you feel their scaly skin!
