Knitting & Crocheting Group

Fingers flying, knots tying! Do you love to knit or crochet and enjoy good company? Drop in to our informal knitting/crocheting group, which offers an opportunity for adults to get together, bring a project to work on, and have others nearby for advice. Meeting weekly on Mondays.

Please note that this is not a knitting class, but instead an opportunity to share current knitting projects with others, to make new friends, and to learn tips and tricks at the same time.
Yoga with Brian Mulligan

Free adult yoga class, weekly on Mondays (except the 4th Monday) from 6-7pm with Brian Mulligan. Brian stresses a gentle approach to yoga with emphasis on proper alignment, safety and well-balanced classes.

Drop-in and bring your own yoga mat.

Brian is a certified 200 hour yoga instructor who studied under Kim Valerie’s Iyengar based Yoga Spirits out of Beverly, MA. He’s also certified to teach chair yoga, having studied under Lakshmi Voelker’s Get Fit Where You Sit program. Lakshmi has trained over 1600 Chair yoga instructors and trains out of Kripalu.

Intersectional Speculative Fiction Book Club

Join us for a special meeting of the Intersectional Speculative Fiction Book Club. Instead of selecting a group read for this date, we will be hosting an informal book chat about the best things you’ve been reading, trends in the genre, and anything else your heart desires. Location TBD, potentially offsite.

Our Intersectional Speculative Fiction Book Club meets every other month, on the third Tuesday, from 6:30 – 8:00 PM. All are welcome to join! Registration is required. Email us at bookclubs@ewmlibrary.org if you are interested in joining and to request the next book title.

Summer Storytime Series

Come join us each Monday for a six week Summer Storytime Series celebrating berries and fruit! We will gather for songs and stories designed for ages 1-3, but babies, preschoolers, and siblings are all welcome as well. At 11am a craft project will be offered.

Monday Night Book Club

Our Monday Night Book Club meets monthly (except twice in January and not in December), on the fourth Monday, from 6:30 – 8 PM. Drop-in. We provide copies of each title for participants to check out.
