Teen Advisory Board!

Monday Night Book Club

Our Monday Night Book Club is meeting monthly on Zoom (except twice in January and not in December) from 6:30 – 8 PM. We provide copies of each title for participants to check out. Visit the Monday Night Book Club page OR print a copy of the schedule to see what they are reading.

Come in to pick up a copy of the monthly selection.

Applesauce Bread/Cake Workshop with Moira

I call this bread, but it’s such a delicious treat that you can call it cake! Hands on workshop using a simple recipe and ingredients to create your own bread at home. We will use the oven to bake-Ages 4+ with adult supervision. Register at youthdept@ewmlibrary.org to receive Zoom link and recipe.

Drop-In Guitar Workshop for Beginners-Teens

Are you just starting to play guitar and having some trouble? Join Andy Goulet and other beginning guitar players for this workshop series and get the help you need! Andy Goulet has been playing guitar for over 20 years and can help you identify solutions to problems you may be having, and develop a plan for learning to play how YOU want to play! Ages 12+, 2 guitars available to loan. Virtual Program.

Building Resiliency: Herbal Remedies to Boost and Strengthen the Immune System

Nora Toomey is back! This time, she’ll be talking about herbal remedies to boost and strengthen the immune system. Nora will go over basic immune support strategies, as well as recipes for Elderberry Syrup and Fire Cider.

Nora Toomey is a Clinical Herbalist and Herbal Medicine Maker. She completed a 1,000 hour Apprenticeship and Clinical Certification at the Berkeley Herbal Center in California. She is the co-owner of a plant and sound meditation business, Flower and Frequency, and also runs a clinical practice and herbal product line, True Bloom. She is passionate about mutual aid and herbal harm reduction and has most recently begun work with the People’s Medicine Project, supporting folks through addiction and opioid use with plant medicine. Currently she lives in Northampton, Massachusetts, with her husband, Josh, and their cat, Stevie Nicks.
