Join Libby Experts for our one-hour Getting Started with Libby webinar! This webinar will show you everything you need to know to get started with Libby or to make the switch from the OverDrive app.

If you don’t have the Libby app downloaded on your device already, you can download the Libby app on most iOS and Android devices. Visit the Apple App Store or Google Play store and search for Libby. Your result should be Libby, by OverDrive, and the app is FREE! You can also use Libby in your web browser by going to libbyapp.com.

In this class, led by artist Lisa Hersey of Antler Editions, we will explore different bookbinding techniques that can be recreated at home. Making a book can be as simple as folding one sheet of paper, or involve 16 pages and sewing! Students will learn how to put content into their books for reproducing editions of their work for themselves or to bring to Press On: Indie Publishing Festival! We will have time to work together and create original books by either decorating the covers, or putting words/drawings onto the pages. Ages 12+, participants must be able to hold and handle a needle. Space is limited, sign up at the library in person or by calling us at 413-527-1031 or emailing us at youthdept@ewmlibrary.org.
