Join local artist Dave Wallace (incendavery.com) to learn about their process for creating diary comics, and turn your own life into a work of art! Dave will lead participants through exercises that incorporate free writing, character creation, and scripting, before helping us put it all together into a finished comic. Space is limited for this in-person event, so please contact the Youth Department to register. Recommended for ages 9 and up.

Winter Mug Magic is here! Join Moira virtually to create an incredibly delicious  Mug Cake. We will use very easy pantry ingredients for a quick snack treat! Contact youthdept@ewmlibrary.org to register and receive the recipe with link for program. Ages 5+ (with adult supervision).

DYI workshops are suitable for everyone ( age 6-18) regardless of their experience. Everyone will take home a successful and beautiful project, Duck Soaps will be created on this day. Limited space-registration will be required.

Enjoy a night of sushi candle creating!  We will using beeswax honeycomb sheets to create our project. Each participant will go home with three sushi candles! They make the perfect gift! Moira will virtually lead the group to create (breads/soups/treats) using the stove top and/or oven. Recipes will be basic but will require use of different utensils and ingredients.
