Moira will virtually lead the group to create (breads/soups/treats) using the stove top and/or oven. Recipes will be basic but will require use of different utensils and ingredients. Join local artist Dave Wallace (incendavery.com) to learn about their process for creating diary comics, and turn your own life into a work of art! Dave will lead participants through exercises that incorporate free writing, character creation, and scripting, before helping us put it all together into a finished comic. Space is limited for this in-person event, so please contact the Youth Department to register. Recommended for ages 9 and up.

Teen Advisory Board (“TAB” for short) is a group of teens that meets once a month on ZOOM. The TAB works with library staff to improve events, space, and collection that we offer to teens. Take ownership of these services and help us create the library that you want to see! The TAB is open to any students ages 12 – 18, whether they attend public, private, or home school.  Contact youthdept@ewmlibrary.org

Winter Mug Magic is here! Join Moira virtually to create an incredibly delicious  Mug Cake. We will use very easy pantry ingredients for a quick snack treat! Contact youthdept@ewmlibrary.org to register and receive the recipe with link for program. Ages 5+ (with adult supervision).

DYI workshops are suitable for everyone ( age 6-18) regardless of their experience. Everyone will take home a successful and beautiful project, Duck Soaps will be created on this day. Limited space-registration will be required.

Enjoy a night of sushi candle creating!  We will using beeswax honeycomb sheets to create our project. Each participant will go home with three sushi candles! They make the perfect gift! Ages 12-18, registration required. Limited supplies and space. Contact youthdept@ewmlibrary for more information.
