Explore how to create a LinkedIn profile that brings your personal career story to life, whether you’re just starting out, seeking to advance, or making a career change. You’ll learn tips on tailoring each section, starting with the key insight that a LinkedIn profile is unique and shouldn’t be approached exactly like a resume. This session will cover ways to add media to a profile, methods for showcasing your career accomplishments and aspirations, and how to grow your thought leadership on LinkedIn.

Come celebrate National Poetry Month at our Poetry Party! We’ll gather together for a live zoom with children’s poet, Robert Schechter to hear him share about his new book, The Red Ear Blows it’s Nose  . After that, we’ll make poetry and play poetry games together. Anyone interested in poetry is welcome. The event is geared for elementary ages.

Our Monday Night Book Club meets monthly (except twice in January and not in December), on the fourth Monday, from 6:30 – 8 PM. Drop-in. We provide copies of each title for participants to check out. Visit the Monday Night Book Club page for a list of dates and titles, with links to each in the catalog.

Anne Talley of the Easthampton Healthy Youth Coalition will host a Parenting Club (with a Book), open to the public. You do not have to read the book in order to attend the discussion. The books under discussion will be available in limited quantity to check out at the Library, at least one month prior to the meeting.

The discussion title for January 11 will be Brainstorm, by Daniel Siegel.

The discussion title for April 26 will be Raising Humans in a Digital World by Diana Graber

It’s a half-day for Easthampton Public Schools, so come to the library and have fun! We’re going to have a family storytime with some silly books about birds and then we’re going to paint our own (indoor, decorative) birdhouses! Geared for ages 4-8, younger and older siblings welcome to join. Registration encouraged so that we will have enough birdhouses. Stop by, email youthdept@ewmlibrary.org or call us at 413-527-1031.
