Join us to celebrate the end of another rockin’ reading program! Participants who read 12 hours or more during the summer are eligible to come to this event at Nonotuck Park. The first hour will feature games, activities, and food, followed by a rock ‘n’ roll story time with local musician Liam Hurley. Registration is required — when you sign up, please let us know if you are able to bring any sides, snacks, drinks, or dessert to share (we’ll provide the main course). All ages are welcome!

The Library is excited to welcome local artist Heather Beck to kick off a brand new programming series just for teens! Artists in Action will feature a new artist and new medium every month, providing students from grades 7-12 with the opportunity to try out projects that normally require a little bit of know-how before getting started.

Space is limited, so if you or someone you know would like to participate, please contact the Library to register!

Starting to think about gifts for the holidays? Join us to learn about some of the wonderful books that reflect local and global diversity! This program is intended for parents, caregivers, and other adults interested in learning more about diverse books for children.

Join us for a Winter Celebration! We’re going to make snowflakes, marshmallow snowpeople..and decorate gingerbread people!

Recommended for ages 5+, registration strongly encouraged.

It’s Book Fest at the Library!
Join cartoonist and educator Grace Desmarais to learn how to craft your own auto-biographical mini comics. No comics or art background needed! Ages 10 and up. Easthampton Book Fest is presented by Easthampton City Arts.

Are you going to Cultural Chaos? So are we! We’ll be set up with the Book Bike on Cottage Street. Stop by to say hi, for Library information, or to build some awesome LEGO structures!

FREE and open to all ages. Join us as we welcome back local music group Crimson Canary for the first performance of our Out of this World Concert Series! They are thrilled to have accordionist Chris Haynes join them for a special evening of French, Italian and Spanish music. 

Happening RAIN or SHINE!! That means that weather permitting, they will take place on the Library Green. Some chairs will be provided but please feel free to bring a blanket or lawn chair.

However, in the case of inclement weather — the show must go on! The performance will happen downstairs in our programming space at the back of the Youth Department. If so, we will advertise as such the day of the concert.

FREE and open to all ages. Join us as we welcome Fraser Andras for the second performance of our Out of this World Concert Series! Fraser performs electric and classical guitar.
