It’s Book Fest at the Library!
Enjoy breakfast treats with local author Daisy Rolland as she reads her picture book How to Enjoy Sweetland: Your Essential Guide to Sweets. Dropin. All ages welcome. Easthampton Book Fest is presented by Easthampton City Arts.

Are you going to Cultural Chaos? So are we! We’ll be set up with the Book Bike on Cottage Street. Stop by to say hi, for Library information, or to build some awesome LEGO structures!

Cultural Chaos 2019 is presented by Easthampton City Arts. 

FREE and open to all ages. Join us as we welcome back local music group Crimson Canary for the first performance of our Out of this World Concert Series! They are thrilled to have accordionist Chris Haynes join them for a special evening of French, Italian and Spanish music. 

Happening RAIN or SHINE!! That means that weather permitting, they will take place on the Library Green. Some chairs will be provided but please feel free to bring a blanket or lawn chair.

However, in the case of inclement weather — the show must go on! The performance will happen downstairs in our programming space at the back of the Youth Department. If so, we will advertise as such the day of the concert.

Join us at Nonotuck Park, Pavilion #4 for our traditional final event featuring local music STARS Andy & Brandee!! This event is open to all ages. Sign up to let us know what you can bring to the picnic. Rain or Shine, we are on!

This new series, geared toward teens but open to all, will tackle important issues facing our local community and beyond.

Did you know that, at the Easthampton Community Center alone, over 1400 families facing food insecurity are served each month, with over 8000 pounds of food distributed every week? So often the struggles these families face remain invisible to most, and it’s critical that we shed light on this issue.

Join us in welcoming a panel of food-access-experts to the Library, who will share their perspectives on this important topic. Please consider bringing your own questions, comments, or stories to share as well.

Join us for a repeat of last year’s event! Paint a pumpkin, create a graham cracker haunted house, and more! Ages 3+

Celebrate the New Year with your own Noise Maker! Drop in and create one to get started! We will have materials ready for you! Ages 3+

Please note: Registration is full. We are working on setting up future dates, so stay tuned!

Come join us for an introduction to sewing and the sewing machine! We will go over the basics of threading and using a sewing machine. We will have two machines available, so please feel free to bring your own machine if you have one. We will learn how to cut, pin, and sew a basic upcycled tote bag. The instructor will provide material to be upcycled for totes, but please feel free to bring your own material as well.

Drop-in between 10am and 12pm! Open to kids AND adults. Vegan option available.
