NYT Magazine 1619 Project Discussion

We will gather to discuss selected articles in the New York Times Magazine 1619 Project issue. The first meeting on Monday, November 18th, will be to choose articles and plan December discussions. Registration is strongly suggested, as there are a limited number of magazine copies.

Please note: Registration is full. We are working on setting up future dates, so stay tuned!

Come join us for an introduction to sewing and the sewing machine! We will go over the basics of threading and using a sewing machine. We will have two machines available, so please feel free to bring your own machine if you have one. We will learn how to cut, pin, and sew a basic upcycled tote bag. The instructor will provide material to be upcycled for totes, but please feel free to bring your own material as well.

When you arrive just call the library (413-527-1031) and let us know that you are here for Curbside Crafts to Go. Supplies limited to the first 25. No library cards required or pre-registration. Offered 2nd and 4th Friday of each month. Recommended for ages 5 & up.
