Applesauce Bread/Cake Workshop with Moira

I call this bread, but it’s such a delicious treat that you can call it cake! Hands on workshop using a simple recipe and ingredients to create your own bread at home. We will use the oven to bake-Ages 4+ with adult supervision. Register at youthdept@ewmlibrary.org to receive Zoom link and recipe.

Curbside Crafts to GO for TEENS! 1st Friday of the month! 2:30-5:30pm pick up!

New! DIY crafts for TEENS that can be picked up curbside at the front of the library at 2:30-5:30pm. When you arrive just call the library (413-527-1031) and let us know that you are here for Curbside Crafts to Go. Supplies limited to the first 15. No library cards required or pre-registration. Offered 1st Friday of each month. Ages 12+

Drop-In Guitar Workshop for Beginners-Teens

Are you just starting to play guitar and having some trouble? Join Andy Goulet and other beginning guitar players for this workshop series and get the help you need! Andy Goulet has been playing guitar for over 20 years and can help you identify solutions to problems you may be having, and develop a plan for learning to play how YOU want to play! Ages 12+, 2 guitars available to loan. Virtual Program.

Microwave Mug Magic with Moira! Spring Cake with a Surprise!

Fluffy cakey dessert baked in a mug! Join this virtual microwave hands-on class to learn how to create your own Spring Cake with a Surprise (hidden chocolate egg in the middle!). Email youthdept@ewmlibrary.org to register and receive the recipe prior to the class. The Zoom link will be emailed to you before the class. Ages 6+ (Adult Supervision is strongly suggested).

Earth Day 2021 “Restore Our Earth” Saplings!

Celebrate Earth Day all week! Earth Day is about raising awareness about the importance of protecting our planet and taking action.  Thursday,  April 22nd is Earth Day 2021, the theme is “Restore Our Earth”. We will have White Spruce Saplings for you to pick up curbside starting on Tuesday, April 20th. Plant somewhere safe and special!

4-H Babysitters Basics Class-Virtually on Zoom!

Would you like to learn babysitting skills? Participants will come to understand the responsibilities of babysitting and learn the skills needed to become good babysitters. This workshop will help you to develop confidence in handling situations that may occur when babysitting. Upon completion of this course, you will receive a babysitter’s ID card and a certification of completion. We will provide a 4-H Babysitting manual. You must attend all three days.
