“Tails & Tales” Summer 2021 Reading Programs

Join us for 6 weeks of adventures in “Tails & Tales” Virtual Programs!

All Summer Reading Program Youth and Teen participants will receive a gift certificate for an ice cream cone/cup from our favorite-Mt Tom’s Homemade Ice Cream! Registration begins on June 28th, ends August 7th. Weekly and Grand Final Raffle! ewmlibrary.org/tailsandtales-kids

(Adults) New Take & Make Project Available!
Jul 19 all-day

No library cards or pre-registration required!  To pick one up, call us when you arrive and let us know that you are here for an Adult Take and Make kit.  

Weekly Take & Make crafts kits will be available to adults during Curbside Service hours.

Projects will change every Monday and be available for pickup through Saturday of that week.

Kits are first come, first serve, as supplies are limited.

Each Take & Make craft kit you complete earns you TWO (2) raffle tickets to enter into our Adult Summer Reading weekly raffle.

To earn your two (2) raffle tickets:

Post a picture of your completed project on social media and tag us! Please make sure that your post is visible to the public. (Our Facebook & Twitter @ewmlibrary , Instagram @ehlibrary)

Send a picture of your completed project to slevine@ewmlibrary.org with the words “Take and Make” in the subject line of your email.

Art Journaling with Corinne Roberts!

Learn quick sketching techniques to use in your travels, observing your personal environment in a new way and review techniques in style, patterns and development of muscle memory. No prior drawing experience needed. Attendees only need simple paper, pencil and eraser. Ages 7+

Tell a tale of Art with Lois!! Creative Art to Go!
Jul 20 @ 10:30 am – 6:30 pm

We will have Art Tales to Go this Summer!  Creative projects in a bag to pick up curbside, includes all you need! All projects will require your imagination and creativity! Have fun! Call us when you arrive between the hours of 10:30-6:30 on Tuesdays only, we will bring it out to the table for you to pick up. Supplies are limited!

ChowHounds Cooking Club-2
Jul 20 @ 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm

ChowHounds 2 will be meeting to create a recipe using the stove top and/or oven. Recipes will be basic but will require use of different utensils and ingredients. Adult supervision is required. Register to receive recipe and link for this virtual program.
