Teen Advisory Board (“TAB” for short) is a group of teens that meets once a month on ZOOM. The TAB works with library staff to improve events, space, and collection that we offer to teens. Take ownership of these services and help us create the library that you want to see! Join local artist Dave Wallace (incendavery.com) to learn about their process for creating diary comics, and turn your own life into a work of art! Dave will lead participants through exercises that incorporate free writing, character creation, and scripting, before helping us put it all together into a finished comic. Space is limited for this in-person event, so please contact the Youth Department to register. Recommended for ages 9 and up.

DYI workshops are suitable for everyone ( age 6-18) regardless of their experience. Everyone will take home a successful and beautiful project, Duck Soaps will be created on this day. Limited space-registration will be required.

Light-filled paper crafts for all skill levels to bring us safely together through the year’s longest night. Come celebrate the solstice and our hopes for the return of the sun.

This event involves drop in, self-guided crafting and will take place upstairs at the long tables by the computers. A limited number of grab-and-go versions of the activities will also be available.

Join Lois to create a winter wonderland house! We will supply the materials, you supply the imagination! Registration required, limited space and supplies. Ages 4+
