Monday Night Book Club

Our Monday Night Book Club meets monthly (except twice in January and not in December), on the fourth Monday, from 6:30 – 8 PM. We provide copies of each title for participants to check out. Visit the Monday Night Book Club page for a list of dates and titles, with links to each in the catalog OR print a copy of the reading list here: 2022 Monday Book Club Schedule.

Learn to Draw Diary Comics!

Learn to Draw Diary Comics!

Join local artist Dave Wallace (incendavery.com) to learn about their process for creating diary comics, and turn your own life into a work of art! Dave will lead participants through exercises that incorporate free writing, character creation, and scripting, before helping us put it all together into a finished comic. Space is limited for this in-person event, so please contact the Youth Department to register. Recommended for ages 9 and up.

Creative Gift Giving Workshop with Kulina Folk Art! Duck Soaps!

Teen Workshop! Sushi Candle Making!
Dec 12 @ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Enjoy a night of sushi candle creating!  We will using beeswax honeycomb sheets to create our project. Each participant will go home with three sushi candles! They make the perfect gift! Ages 12-18, registration required. Limited supplies and space. Contact youthdept@ewmlibrary for more information.
