We are partnering with the Easthampton Council on Aging to host a book discussion of An Unnecessary Woman, by Rabih Alameddine.

Check out a copy of the book AT THE LIBRARY starting December 5th. Read the book and drop-in for the discussion AT THE COUNCIL ON AGING on January 19th.

Winter Baking Virtual Series for Youth and Teens
Jan 19 @ 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Moira will virtually lead the group to create (breads/soups/treats) using the stove top and/or oven. Recipes will be basic but will require use of different utensils and ingredients. Adult supervision is required. Register at youthdept@ewmlibrary.org to receive recipe and link for this virtual program.

Family Story Time!

Share books, stories, songs, rhymes, and music in a fun interactive program that builds early literacy skills. This program is designed for children birth to 5 years old, accompanied by a favorite adult.

Monday Night Book Club

Our Monday Night Book Club meets monthly (except twice in January and not in December), on the fourth Monday, from 6:30 – 8 PM. Drop-in. We provide copies of each title for participants to check out. We will have directions and materials to create paper snowflakes to keep, enter into the Winterfest Contest, and/or one to hang here!

The table will be ready for your visit Thursday, Feb. 2nd, Friday, Feb. 3rd, and Saturday, Feb. 4th-all day, each day during regular library hours.

Stuffie Sleepover
Feb 21 @ 10:30 am – 11:30 am

Bring your stuffie for a sleepover they’ll always remember: homemade blankets, stories, & more! When it’s time to go, you’ll tuck them in and say goodnight. Then, come back any time the following day to pick them up, and see what they were up to after the lights went out. Space is limited and registration is required. Recommended for ages 3-8. Younger and older siblings welcome.

Graphic Novel Book Club

Stuffie Vet Clinic with Jennifer Welborn & Rozillia MH!

Bring (or pick up) your stuffie for a special checkup with local author/illustrator team Jennifer & Rozillia! After sharing their book, Dr. Rosie Helps the Animals, they will show you how to diagnose and treat common ailments that your stuffie might experience — skills used by real life veterinarians! Space is limited and registration is required. Recommended for ages 3-8.
