Come relax with friends and BINGO at the end of the school week! Ages 3+

We are delighted to be hosting an all-ages Taiko perfomance on the library lawn! Taiko is a full-body performance art that blends physicality and musicality, movement and rhythm. Originating in Japan but molded by a globalized world, taiko performances pay homage to ancient rhythms as well as innovate contemporary beats. Bring a blanket to sit on if you’d like.

Mountain River Taiko is a multi-generational community group sharing their love of Japanese drumming in western Massachusetts and beyond for over 10 years. The youth department is in it’s Snail Mail Era! Come join us for a mail art afternoon making and decorating envelopes and letters. All supplies and a limited amount of postage will be provided to mail the art you create!
