Cynde McInnis of The Whalemobile will present this 1 -hour virtual program. This tale is about one of Cynde’s favorite humpback whales Nile. She was bornin 1987, and Cynde has seen her almost every year since since she has been whale watching (1994)! Cynde will be sharing why Nile’s is her favorite and how scientists study humpbacks (by the patterns on their Tails). We will “virtually” go inside a life-sized model of Nile to learn about how humans and whales are similar! In the end, we will disc uss actions we can take to help protect whales!
